Grand Theft Auto Online's latest content update has added a brand new motorcycle named the Western Reever that cleverly references Keanu Reeves and Cyberpunk 2077, along with bonuses on certain activities and vehicle discounts. Despite releasing almost a decade ago, GTA Online's popularity continues with more and more players jumping into the extensive online sandbox title each year. With GTA Online becoming Twitch's most-watched game in 2021 and the game-breaking player count record in 2020, GTA players and Rockstar Games have made it clear that the acclaimed multiplayer mode isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
As one of Rockstar's most popular and lucrative games to date,GTA 5's multiplayer mode continues to receive major updates and expansions that add new content and expand the title's replayability and longevity. Due to its massive player base and continued financial success, a current-gen version of the latest entry is set release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in March. Current-gen players will be able to experience a revamped version of GTA 5 and its multiplayer mode with improved visuals and gameplay, shorter loading times and new features yet to be announced that will help it stay distinctive compared to previous versions of the title.
