Grotto Netherwing Drake - Preview of Customization Options Coming in 10.2
The Grotto Netherwing Drake, a dragonriding mount originally obtainable from the Trading Post, is receiving numerous customization options in 10.2--as well as another way to obtain it!
New Source for Grotto Netherwing Drake
Originally, the Grotto Netherwing Drake was the special Trading Post reward back in July 2023. However, the mount tooltip on the PTR indicates you'll be able to obtain it once again, through the Dragon Keeping quest coming in Guardians of the Dream. While we don't know much about this quest just yet, early 10.2 interviews teased details that the Netherwing would play a role in the upcoming patch.
New Customization Options for Grotto Netherwing Drake
The Grotto Netherwing Drake did not have any customization options available to players in July 2023, although armor customization was previously datamined. With the 10.2 PTR update, even more customization options have been added to the data, for eye color, markings, and skin color. All of these customization options are available to try out in our PTR Dressing Room, linked below.
