AGrand Theft Auto 5 player has spotted an airplane in the game's story mode, parked in what appears to be Michael De Santa's neighborhood. The plane in question seemed to be a passenger jet that suffered some kind of damage. According to the player, the plane dropped out of the sky in Grand Theft Auto 5's story mode.
In the Grand Theft Auto games, vehicles play a big part in the gameplay. InGrand Theft Auto 5, the player characters drive increasingly elaborate and more expensive vehicles as their heists become more complicated. Oddly enough, airplane related incidents pop up more in the online mode and is where players do bizarre things with them. In one instance, a GTA Online player managed to land a jet on the side of building. Sometimes, however, Grand Theft Auto 5's AI does some bizarre things with planes in the game's story mode.

The plane in question was spotted by Reddit user alphamp3. Exactly what caused the vehicle to fall out of the sky is unknown though bugs involving planes are relatively common in the game. For example, one Grand Theft Auto 5 glitch caused planes to hunt the player until it was patched out. One commenter on the page noted that, for whatever reason, planes falling out of the sky in Michael's neighborhood was a common bug and that they usually blew up upon impact.
As mentioned above, glitches like these typically pop up in the online mode but will, on occasion, appear in the story mode as well.
