A release window for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 has been shared by a prominent leaker. This past week has been incredibly active for the Grand Theft Auto community, and not in a good way. A leaker, now believed to be arrested, claimed to have hacked Rockstar Games and stolen the source code for Grand Theft Auto 6, Grand Theft Auto 5, and other Rockstar projects. A leaked release window may be incomparable in terms of impact, but if true is nevertheless quite shocking.
By no means is this the first leaked release window for Grand Theft Auto 6, of course. There have been any number of content creators, insiders, and leakers, who have claimed Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released anywhere between 2023 and the end of the century. For example, a reputable leaker said in May 2021 that Grand Theft Auto 6 would launch in late 2023. Obviously, not every leak can be accurate, but some leaks are worth sharing based on past reliability.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Hacker Reportedly Arrested
This latest leak comes from Adrien Perea, who says that Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release in 2025. He followed that up by saying, «It's no brainer, just here to confirm it.» This would be one of the latest release windows for Grand Theft Auto 6claimed through leaks so far.
Past leaks from Perea include confirmed information like Forspoken's delay into January 2023, Skull and Bones release date in November, Cyberpunk 2077's 1.6 update. In addition, their unconfirmed leaks include Rockstar's cancelation of Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption remasters, Ghost of Tsushima for PC, and much more. Suffice it to say, their leaks so far are very reliable, but it also hasn't been long enough for all of their reports to be proven true or false.
