Samsung Galaxy Fold Z 4 and Oppo Find N's rival Google Pixel Fold details just got leaked. Now, the latest leaks and renders have revealed expected display sizes, and overall dimensions, as well as the expected launch date. In the latest development, Geekbench has listed Google Pixel Fold, which implies it is expected launch soon, expectedly in May, 2023. Apart from that, MacRumors quoted OnLeaks as confirming previously claimed specs and design. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Google Pixel Fold.
It is being suggested that the Google Pixel Fold will have a similar form factor as the Oppo Find N. To be specific, it is expected to feature a 5.79-inch outer display with a hole-punch camera cutout at the center and a 7.69-inch inner screen with a right-aligned selfie camera cutout. The leaks also suggest that it will also feature OLED panels with ultra-thin glass supplied by Samsung. The display size will measure approximately 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm when unfolded, which will make it marginally wider than the Oppo Find N, but will serve the same height.
The rest of the rear panel design will be reminiscent of Google's latest Pixel 7 Pro, especially in terms of its camera hump housing a triple-lens, a flash, and a microphone. Earlier leaks suggested that the upcoming Pixel Fold will be powered by Google's latest Tensor G2 chipset and 12GB of RAM. Moreover, it will run on Android 13.
Talking about its expected price, it is said to be around $1799 with black and silver color variants, a MacRumors report suggested.
However, Google has not made any comment yet on the rumoured Google Pixel Fold specs and hence you should take the information with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
