Samsung Galaxy Unpacked for the Galaxy S23 series now has an official launch date! Samsung is going to bring its new Galaxy S23 series soon and while the leaks have revealed the design as well as some of the specifications, we don't know what it could cost and when it will launch. Thanks to a new leak from Samsung's own website, we now know when the Galaxy S23 series could launch around the global markets.
Based on a new report from 9To5Google, Samsung's Colombia website has accidentally revealed the date for the next Galaxy Unpacked event. The poster, which was later removed, revealed February 1 as the launch date for the Galaxy S23 series. Samsung is yet to confirm anything officially on this front but we expect an official revelation over the coming weeks.
The teaser poster flaunted the new triple camera design with the individual lenses, something that we saw on the Galaxy S22 Ultra last year. Based on the previous leaks, it is said that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus will lose the camera hump in favour of elevated camera lenses in the same pattern as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S23 Ultra keeps almost the same design as the Galaxy S22 Ultra, except for a few changes here and there.
Leaks have also revealed all the four new colours the entire Galaxy S23 series will come in. Additionally, the entire lineup will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, Samsung will use a boosted version of the chipset, with a higher clocked performance core. The S23 Ultra is also said to use a new 200MP camera sensor, which should help with 8K video recording at 30 fps, and better low light photography.
