A new God of War Ragnarok video features all the gameplay shown from the game so far. God of War Ragnarok comes out on November 9, and a recent study revealed that it’s one of the 10 most hyped upcoming games. It joins Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Grand Theft Auto 6, and more on this list.
Sony usually shows gameplay demos of its big first-party AAA games. Some of these are a part of PlayStation Showcase events, while other titles, such as Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7, get their own State of Play presentations. However, God of War Ragnarok’s promotion has been different as Sony has only shown snippets of gameplay as a part of different trailers. One fan has now made a useful video that combines all the gameplay clips.
God of War Ragnarok Art Director Says 'You Haven't Seen Anything Yet'
A Reddit user named Linzo48 has compiled all the gameplay footage Santa Monica Studio has shared from God of War Ragnarok. This includes all the game’s trailers, including the one from the latest State of Play. Linzo48 didn’t include any audio from the clips, as that would probably be too jarring, and instead decided to play a track presumably from the game’s official soundtrack.
While this video doesn’t make up for the lack of an extended gameplay demo, it does a good job of showing off the combat of God of War Ragnarok. It features Kratos fighting a variety of enemies using his arsenal of weapons, and fans will notice some new moves added to the game. The video also shows Kratos using a grappling hook of sorts and traversing the world with Atreus on a boat.
There could be a few reasons why Santa Monica Studio has chosen to alter its approach when it comes to this game's presentation.
