As fun as it can be putting together a new gaming PC, the inevitable mess of wires can be a huge hassle to deal with. Adding to that, there are plenty of elegant designs for motherboards, graphics cards, cases, and other components. Complicate that with a web of untidy wires, and your otherwise beautiful build can feel a lot less satisfying. Recognizing the interest for ultra-clean PC builds, Gigabyte’s Aorus gaming division has come up with a fully custom solution called Project Stealth.
The premise is simple enough. Gigabyte designed a custom Z690 ATX motherboard with all of its connections located on the backside. When paired with the corresponding case, all of these connections are easily accessible through access openings. With this, you can effectively restrict all of your cables to the routing compartment of the case. This also includes the power connectors for the Aorus RTX 3070 Stealth graphics card that’s part of the whole endeavor.
What you get is a system with unbeatable cable management. This is further shown off via the tempered glass side panel. Gigabyte also included a subtle mix of RGB accents across the various components to shine through and make your machine look mean.
Of course, no custom solution for an entire system is without its drawbacks. While this case offers some great perks, it does restrict interested buyers to only buying Gigabyte parts to accomplish the objective of a clean look. It also means users better like what Gigabyte designed, because the obstructed front panel means airflow will be limited. Other than that, this seems like a decent solution for midrange systems where heat management doesn’t need to get too crazy.
