Ghostwire: Tokyo has all manner of side quest and collectibles to keep the player distracted from the main story. One of the more adorable of them has the player encountering a bossy Tanuki near the first few missions of the game.
In Ghostwire: Tokyo, this Tanuki will task the player with the side quest «Tanuki Hunt» which will have them scouring the streets and rooftops of Tokyo looking for his comrades disguised as inanimate objects, who were all separated when the fog started appearing. These furry friends can be fairly difficult to notice sometimes, as they are hiding from the fairly terrifying Visitors. Fortunately their disguises, are given away by a large fluffy tail that will protrude from its rear.
