Over the last couple of months, Genshin Impact has introduced an interesting pattern of placing a new character with two re-runs in one update.
Banner re-runs allow players to acquire an older five-star character from the roster. For example, the ongoing Tapestry of Golden Flames banner allows players to pull for the popular Pyro bow user, Yoimiya.Recent rumors have been hinting that Genshin Impact Version 3.0 will apparently be one week shorter than usual updates which makes sense if HoYoverse wants a new update to drop around the same day as her second anniversary.

The game has already indirectly confirmed re-runs for 3.0 by announcing only one new five-star character named Tighnari. He will apparently be a new bow DPS character and the game's first five-star Dendro character.
