Bathysmal Vishap Herd is a normal boss that lives in the underwater world of Enkanomiya. This new Genshin Impact region was released in version 2.4 and acts as a sequel to The Moon-Bathed Deep World Quest. After unlocking Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact, players have to go through some quests before they unlock this boss. As of the 2.4 update, Shenhe is the only character that needs this enemy's drop.
Just like other bosses in Genshin Impact, the Bathysmal Vishap Herd also have their unique mechanism. To beat these opponents easily, here are some tips players can follow.
Genshin Impact: Things You Didn't Know About Shenhe
The first thing players need to know is that when the fight starts, the bosses will do the same attack sequences. Both the Rimebiter (Cryo Vishap) and Bolteater (Electro Vishap) do this:
Because they'd always jump to the other side of the arena, players should save their Elemental Burst until the enemy is not moving. The combination of Electro and Cryo will deal Superconduct reaction, but it's mostly negligible as it doesn't have any interrupting Crowd Control like Frozen or Electro-Charged.
Afterward, the Electro Vishap will jump to a wall, assisting the Cryo boss from a distance. Players can either use Geo construct to block the Bolteater's attack, or go to the wall it's perched on and destroy it. For this, Blunt attacks are more effective than other damage. This includes Claymore attack, Plunging attack, Geo damage, and Explosions (like Klee's or Yanfei's attack)
If players choose to destroy the wall, the Vishap will fall and be incapacitated. Use this opportunity to finish the enemy quickly.
If one of the Vishaps is defeated, the two bosses will join together in the middle and do a laser beam across the arena.
