There are many regions in Genshin Impact with more being added frequently, all of which are studded with chests, mora, seelies, and other secrets. Actually finding all of these concealed rewards can be a slow and painful process. This is especially true since even reaching 100% in a region doesn't guarantee that every secret has been found.

Redditor LightningShado kicked off the discussion with a post begging miHoYo to change Genshin Impact's map so that any remaining secrets show up after players have reached 100% on a given region. This quality of life change would make exploring Teyvat much less stressful for concerned players. LightningShado described feeling perpetually paranoid that they'd missed materials or primogems in an area they'd already cleared. They also wondered why miHoYo hadn't added this small but useful feature to the game from the start.
Another user, ArkassEX, stated that even if a full map upgrade isn't in the cards, miHoYo should give the treasure compass unlimited range. They also suggested the compass should lock onto chests hidden by puzzles and mechanisms, which can be easy to overlook.
