While Genshin Impact has shown plenty of new content on the horizon between new characters and new regions, the game has been careful not to forget its roots and honor the game's storied history over the year and a half since its launch. MiHoYo recently announced the popular Venti would be receiving another re-run, with the launch five-star character seeing multiple features throughout the game's life. The coming 2.6 update will add the first new region to Liyue since its debut in Version 1.0, and, now, the game will see the return of another old fan-favorite.

Long-time fans of Genshin Impact may remember a regular publication from MiHoYo called the «Teyvat Times,» of which the company produced several newsletters during the early stages of the game's life. The posts were fun updates about the Genshin player base and their activities within the game, recording statistics like how many players had been struck by lightning bolts and various trivial accomplishments within the community, like walking the full distance from Mondstadt to Liyue.
