The Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream is expected to arrive later this week, ahead of the new update actually releasing in-game at the end of August. The Special Program broadcast will focus on the new Sumeru region and officially show off new playable characters. For those eagerly awaiting the event, here's everything to know about the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream, including when it should start and what to expect.
Since launch, HoYoverse (formerly miHoYo) updates Genshin Impact every six weeks. The exception to this, of course, was when Genshin Impact 2.7 was delayed due to COVID lockdowns. However, the 2.8 update was back on course and it looks as if 3.0 will also adhere to that six-week schedule. This means the Version 3.0 update will arrive on August 24 (depending on someone's time zone), which means the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream will most likely air on Friday, August 12, 2022.

While HoYoverse hasn't officially announced the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream yet, Special Program broadcasts have almost always appeared on a Friday, about a week and a half before the actual update launches. While a few have aired on Saturday or Sunday, that still puts the air date for this weekend, meaning fans shouldn't have to wait too long to see more. While times have differed in the past, generally, livestreams have aired around 8 am ET. The Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream should debut on the game's official Twitch channel. Given past broadcasts, the presentation will then be uploaded to its YouTube channel at a later time that same day. Ahead of an official announcement, this means the most likely time and date for the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream is August 12, 2022, at 8 am ET.
