Genshin Impact 3.0 Includes Huge Map Expansion, Dendro, and More

Genshin Impact has now been available for nearly two years, and it still feels like developer miHoYo has barely scratched the surface of the free-to-play RPG's potential. Frequent updates continue to roll out as miHoYo adds new characters, new tasks, and more. It's Genshin Impact's rarer major updates that truly expand the game's experience in new and exciting ways. Players are currently looking forward to Genshin Impact's 3.0 update, now confirmed to be expanding the game's map and adding the new Dendro element.

In Genshin Impact 3.0, players will be able to journey to the new Sumeru region. This region is divided into two main biomes, the first of which is dense rainforest. Within the rainforest, players will find the settlements of Sumeru City and Port Ormos, as well as the academic institution Akademiya. The rainforest is filled with increasingly tall trees and fungus, vines and thick foliage, and strange fauna.
