Genshin Impact Gamescom Trailer Highlights Sumeru Region and New Characters

The gaming industry's popularity has grown tremendously in recent years, and annual events like E3 are becoming mainstream. Gamescom is another famous gaming convention that features many notable developers like 2K Games, Bandai Namco, SEGA, and Warner Bros. Games, among others. HoYoverse is another prominent name that revealed exciting information about its games, Genshin Impact, and the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail in Gamescom 2022.

Genshin Impact's update 3.0 is around the corner, and fans are yearning for any information from the devs. HoYoverse recently unveiled the first banner characters and weapons for Genshin Impact 3.0, including notable ones like Collei, Diona, and Fischl. Gamescom 2022 provided an excellent opportunity for the developers to reveal more data about the forthcoming update. Fans are also hungry for details about the new Sumeru region and additional content to be added in update 3.0.

Genshin Impact Releases Tighnari Gameplay Trailer

Thankfully for the fans, HoYoverse came out with a brand-new trailer for Gamescom Opening Night Live, revealing more information about the new content. The trailer begins in the jungle setting of the Sumeru region and shows the area with incredible detail. Lush green forests with giant trees can be seen throughout the trailer, along with glimpses of wooden bridges and other locations. Moreover, the trailer also focuses on the upcoming characters in the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, including the likes of Collei, Tighnari, and Dori. Collei and Tighnari will be the first Dendro characters in Genshin Impact. The final few seconds of the trailer show a desert region inspired by Ancient Egypt, suggesting a contrast within the same area.

Unsurprisingly, the Genshin Impact trailer
