(Pocket-lint) — Gamescom is Germany's biggest annual videogames convention and it returns as an in-person show this year.
That includes the Opening Night Live presentation that kicks off the event, which will have actual fans in attendance. However, you'll still be able to watch it from the comfort of your home as it'll be streamed online too.

It is confirmed that the 2022 Opening Night Live event will last for two hours — much like previous years' shows.
There will, however, be a live audience for the first time since the pandemic with «thousands of fans» able to purchase tickets.

More than 30 games will be detailed during the showcase, including exclusive footage of the delayed Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy, Sonic Frontiers and Dead Space-alike, The Callisto Protocol.
