Gamescom 2022 is planned as a hybrid event, meaning it will be taking place both online and in-person simultaneously for fans around the globe. The event will be held in Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany, from August 24 to August 28, 2022.
This year's event will be held in person for the first time since 2019, after remaining digital-only for the past few years due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Xbox has already released a detailed schedule for the games they will display during the event. The publisher will hold a six-hour event on August 25, from 5 am-11 am Pacific Time/8 am-2 pm Eastern Time/2 pm-8 pm Central European Summer Time at Xbox Booth.
