Microsoft has added three more games for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to try today, including a game that is perfect to play for the Halloween season. Instead of giving away all the Xbox Game Pass games at once, Microsoft likes to stagger the new additions throughout the month. Because of this, some days are better than others when it comes to Xbox Game Pass, though today is one of the stronger days for the service in October 2022.
Microsoft has already added a number of games to Game Pass this month, and there are many more for subscribers to look forward to in the days and weeks ahead. The new Game Pass games for October 2022 are a mix of day one releases, older titles, and early access games. All three categories are represented in the new Xbox Game Pass games for October 11.

As of today, Game Pass subscribers can try Coral Island, Costume Quest, and Eville. Coral Island is available through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as an early access title. Costume Quest is available to play on the cloud and consoles, while Eville is on consoles and PC. No removal dates have been announced for any of the games at the time of this writing, so it's likely that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get to play them for at least a year. Costume Quest will most likely stay on Game Pass indefinitely, though, as Double Fine is owned by Microsoft.
For those unfamiliar with the games, Coral Island is a new life simulation game in the vein of Stardew Valley, though it has an ocean gimmick to help it stand apart from the many other Stardew Valley-style games on the market.
