Destiny 2 is no stranger to all manner of funny emotes, from wacky dances all the way to popular Internet memes, such as that of confused John Travolta from Pulp Fiction, or the legendary Darkest Timeline meme from Community. The latest funny emote to be highlighted by the game's community, however, is that of a trombone concert.
The "Second Line" emote allows up to three player Guardians to join in on an impromptu trombone concert whenever they feel like it. Though Destiny 2 didn't include any trombone music to go along with this emote, players seem to find it thrilling all the same, especially when it comes to interacting with one another in the game's central hub, the Tower.

In a display similar to that of the recent bout of in-game LAN parties in the Tower, Destiny 2 players have now taken to joining forces not just to destroy the enemies of humanity, but also to have a little casual fun while they're not out and about doing strikes, patrols, and raids. With support for up to three players at the same time, "Second Line" coordinates Guardians to play trombones in perfect sync, leading to lots of dancing and fireworks. As the video posted on Reddit shows, players were quick to jump at the opportunity to muck around, with the trombone concert soon growing to include six players all at once.
Though Destiny 2's lore can certainly get grim and serious when needed, the game is hardly allergic to hilarity. Not only does Bungie keep producing all sorts of funny emotes both for solo players and for full fireteams, but they often also come up with ways to root players' behavior in established lore.
