Reviews also point towards Elden Ring being a success, with many players and critics calling it a potential Game of the Year nominee already.
However, no game is without flaw, and such is the case with Elden Ring. Since launch, performance issues have lead to poor Elden Ring reviews; problems such as corrupted save files, massive frame drops, and network issues have affected many players, causing some to be frustrated with the game.
Elden Ring Player Grinds to Level 93 Before Fighting Margit
Considering that FromSoftware has already released an Elden Ring patch to address performance issues, the hope among players is that these troubles will become a problem of the past. However, these issues are not the only ones affecting players; as with most open-world games, Elden Ring also holds its fair share of bugs and glitches.
For example, Reddit user iiElectricAvenue captured the moment that a glitch involving Elden Ring's horse Torrent caused their untimely death. In the clip, iiElectricAvenue is simply killing enemies and looting them before attempting to jump on Torrent. However, when iiElectricAvenue hops on, Torrent rides off without them and disappears, leaving iiElectricAvenue stuck in midair unable to move. To add further injury to the insult, a nearby flower enemy attacks iiElectricAvenue with magic, killing them. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, as the Elden Ring invisible horse glitch is a well-known problem.
