Epic Games is teasing a brand-new Fortnite event, one that might allow players to pilot a mech across The Island. Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 is drawing to a close as of this writing, and players are naturally wondering what Epic has in store for the next chapter of its ongoing battle royale blockbuster. More game-wide events are likely, as Fortnite has already been home to world-shattering calamities, live in-game Fortnite concerts from stars like Ariana Grande, and even the occasional movie tie-in like an ominous message from Emperor Palpatine in the run-up to 2019's Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker.
