Fortnite Players Unintentionally Reenact Avengers: Endgame Ending
A couple of Fortnite users playing as Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Zendaya's MJ reenacted one of Avengers: Endgame's most hearbreaking scenes. The MCU's Spider-Man and MJ joined the Fortnite roster in December 2021, just in time for the theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home. These Chapter 3 additions came packed with two skins for the webhead, the «Integrated» No Way Home suit and the Black and Gold attire, both boasting masked/unmasked toggling options.
No Way Home played host to more than its fair share of incredible character moments, none of which will be spoiled here. But one MCU scene that also reentered the topic of discussion late last year was Hawkeye's and Black Widow's Soul Stone retrieval segment near the end of Avengers: Endgame. The Soul Stone requires that one make a sacrifice — giving up that which you love, "a soul for a soul." Unwilling to let the other to die, Hawkeye and Black Widow fought to prevent one another from making the ultimate sacrifice. In the end, Natasha Romanoff simultaneously won and lost. But what would the heart-wrenching scene look like in a game of Fortnite? Two players recently found out in an oddly charming way.

Recently, TikTok user spacyss posted a Fortnite gameplay video wherein they unwittingly connected with another player. The TikToker wore a Tom Holland Spider-Man skin, the other player assumed the role of Zendaya's MJ; the duo met when Spidey swooped in to save MJ from "toxic" Venom behavior. Interestingly, the two reunited much later in the game and shared a virtual hug via emoji.
