Epic Games fans have had access to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 for only a couple of days now and among the issues being discovered is a bug that removes all water from the battle royale map. In addition to the few bugs and glitches prevalent in Fortnite, Season 4 brought with it point of interest changes, a new weapon rotation, and a battle pass that includes Meow Skulls and a Brie Larson skin.
The Fortnite battle royale map has included water since Loot Lake in the game's early days, and since Chapter 2 made it more prominent across the island, it has become expected from one season to the next. Even seasons like Fortnite Zero Point, which had an expansive desert in the center of the map, and Cubed, which had massive gateways to the Sideways, retained water on the island in some way. A Reddit user recently shared multiple images from one of their Fortnite battle royale matches in which they dropped into an island that appeared to be missing all its water.
Fortnite Confirms Connection Between Meowscles and Meow Skulls
The first screenshot captured by the Reddit user depicts the Fortnite battle royale island from above, highlighting the many POI changes made to the game with the current season dubbed Paradise. At the center of the lake next to Fortnite's Tilted Towers, where the Zero Point is located, shows the most significant difference, with a completely dried-out lake exposing the swirling blue energy that was the target of Marvel's Galactus in the Nexus War event. The rivers leading to this lake are also shown to be just as void of water in Fortnite screenshots, but the stranger reveal is when the gamer approaches the edge of the map and still sees no water.
