In a DC Universe where the greatest heroes on Earth turned to mechs instead of their usual costumes, The Flash's MK III Mech has some incredible features, including being able to generate energy blades by connecting to the Speed Force.
In DC: Mech by DC Comics, the greatest heroes and villains and Earth all operate in giant-sized mechs, as the previous age of heroes led to them adopting the armored suits permantely. In the series, the Justice Society of America, including Doctor Fate, were killed when Darkseid unleashed a single kaiju-sized Parademon on the planet, showing the world needed a new way to deal with the alien attacks. It would lead to a world of mechs, where even The Flash has suited up with a redesigned armor that makes his speed a new kind of weapon.

In a new preview of DC: Mech #4 by Kenny Porter, Baldermar Rivas, Mike Spicer, and Tom Napolitano from DC Comics, readers learn more about The Flash's armored redesign. The details surrounding Wally West's mech are further revealed in a card stock variant cover from Dan Mora. The MK III Mech is the third model of the mech, with Jay Garrick and Barry Allen using similar enhanced armor previously. Another impressive detail is the armor's lightning blades, created for close-quarter combat to destroy enemy mechs, with the power generated from the running.
