Way back in 2006, the first Company of Heroes game was released and blew strategy gamers away. The game reportedly sold well for the publisher and ended up winning several Game of the Year awards for the RTS genre. Seven years later, Relic Entertainment released a sequel, Company of Heroes 2, which was sadly met with a more mixed response from gamers and critics. Now, the third Company of Heroes game is set to be released later this year and publisher Sega is making sure players know what they'll be getting into.
Company of Heroes 3 was originally announced in the summer of 2021, with the first trailer showing off its new features. Publisher Sega would go on to reveal the game's new campaign and what new features would be available to the player. Whereas previous games took place primarily in one area of World War 2, Company of Heroes 3 will take place in North Africa and Italy. Now a new trailer has been released which highlights all the game's features in a nice and condensed two-minute YouTube video.

This newCompany of Heroes 3 trailer highlights the game's various modes and factions with a tagline that encourages gamers to play the way they want to. The United States forces are characterized as aggressive and adaptable while the German Wehrmacht faction is listed as defensive and intimidating. The British forces are said to be well-rounded and resilient while the Deutsches Afrikakorps are mechanized and mobile. The North Africa campaign is said to be a classical single-player experience, similar to the previous games while the Italian campaign will be something more akin to a Total War-style campaign.
