The DLC expansions for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin can only be purchased as part of the Season Pass and can't be bought individually, the developer has confirmed. Final Fantasy Origin is set to receive three major expansions that will be released after launch: Trials of the Dragon King, Wanderer of the Rift, and Different Future.
Trials of the Dragon King likely refers to the event in FF1 involving Bahamut. In the days before he was a summon, Bahamut appeared as an NPC in FF1 who gave players the optional quest to find the Rat Tail. If the player brings the Rat Tail to Bahamut, then their jobs will be upgraded. It's likely thatWanderer of the Rift will bring Gilgamesh from FF5 into Final Fantasy Origin, as he is known to travel between the Final Fantasy worlds. The character was thrown into the Interdimensional Rift in FF5, and has appeared as a DLC boss in other Final Fantasy titles. Different Future could mean just about anything, but it could refer to Jack Garland having a happy ending to his story, unlike the role he is destined to play in Final Fantasy Origin.
