There is also a message from Yoshinori Kitase, who has worked on many Square Enix games as a director, producer, writer, and supervisor. He stated that the 35th anniversary of the original Final Fantasy also serves as anniversaries for other beloved titles. It has been 30 years since Final Fantasy 5 came out, 25 years since Final Fantasy 7 came out, and 20 years since Final Fantasy 11: Online came out.
There are multiple Final Fantasy games releasing this year that fans of the series can learn about through the website. The first of which, Chocobo GP, releases tomorrow on the Nintendo Switch. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is another game releasing this month. It will come out on March 18 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis is the last new title that is confirmed to come out this year, which will bring the story of Final Fantasy 7, along with its spin-off titles, such as Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, to mobile gamers.
