FIFA 23‘s next patch will finally address the Trivela shot, a mechanic which has been dominating online matches of the football simulator.
The patch, which is being rolled out across all consoles and PCs in the next week, will reduce the accuracy of the Trivela shot, which sees the player shoot with the outside of their foot.
This shooting technique has proven so effective that players have stopped entering their opponent’s box, instead standing at the corner of the box and shooting into the opposite corner.
The animation that is triggered by the Trivela shot often causes the goalkeeper to miss the ball completely.
A win-loss counter has also been added to FUT Champions, which will track all stages of the competition, including qualification.
