Content in the latest Evil Dead: The Game patch includes a new map selection option in Exploration Mode, two new weapons in the Syringe and Nailgun, a new mission named Weekend at Knoby's, and a substantial number of balance changes and general fixes. For example, the Necronomicon now has 5% increased health to make it stronger, and cars will receive damage per second during the Dark Ones and Necronomicon phases, both key changes to help Demons in the final phase of the game.

The most substantial addition to Evil Dead: The Game in the latest patch, however, are the two new playable survivors. The new survivors are Mia and David, both characters from the Evil Dead 2013 film. The two are the leading roles in the Evil Dead reimagining, so fans of the film will likely be excited to have them fully playable.
