Developer Saber Interactive and publisher Boss Team Games have unleashed a new look at Evil Dead: The Game that showcases the Kandarian Demon in action. Saber Interactive announced Evil Dead: The Game during the 2020 Game Awards, following months of rumors and speculation about a Bruce Campbell-starring interactive adventure. The multiplayer-centric horror title originally boasted a 2021 release window, but was later pushed to 2022 with the promise of a single-player mode accompanying the news.
Evil Dead: The Game will allow players to step into the boots of series protagonist Ash Williams and his friends to take on cooperative and PvP-based action. Saber Interactive took inspiration from every iteration of the long-running franchise, meaning characters and worlds from the three original films, and STARZ' Ash vs Evil Dead TV series will take center stage at any given moment. Now, following last month's reveal of Evil Dead: The Game's Ultimate Edition, the development crew has decided to showcase even more of the co-op title in action.
