Agatha: Coven of Chaos is a spinoff of WandaVision, which saw the Scarlet Witch facing off against the centuries-old witch Agatha Harkness. Though not much has been revealed about the plot of Agatha: Coven of Chaos, Agatha's final fate in WandaVision could provide some clues about what stories the new series will tell.
In the WandaVision ending, Wanda Maximoff uses runes to disable Agatha's spellcasting — a trick that Agatha inadvertently taught Wanda herself. Wanda then absorbs Agatha's powers and — for the first time in the MCU — truly becomes the Scarlet Witch. Agatha Harkness is also the one who brings Wanda and the Darkhold together, setting in motion the events that eventually led to Scarlet Witch's death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After Agatha's defeat in WandaVision, Wanda traps Agatha in the Agnes persona that Agatha assumed while infiltrating Westview.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos could reveal what happened to Agatha Harkness following the events of WandaVision. Though nothing is more powerful than the Scarlet Witch's Chaos Magic, Agatha's centuries of studying the arcane could conceivably allow her to find some way out of Wanda's hex.
