With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 now live, many changes have been implemented into the game, such as Vaulted and Unvaulted weaponry. Of course, some players might be sad that their favorite gun of the previous season is gone, but it is possible that it might return in a future update. Regardless, the Unvaulted firearms that Season 3 of Chapter 3 features can likely alter the meta, so it is essential that Battle Royale Island combatants are aware of these weapon changes.
Starting with Vaulted weapons in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3, there are a total of four guns that are now unavailable. First is the MK-Seven Assault Rifle, an Assault Weapon with fast firing and fully automatic rounds. The second to enter the Vault is the Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper, a medium damage Sniper Rifle that could bring targets down to critical condition in one shot. The next Vaulted weapon is the Ranger Shotgun, a single-shot shotgun that can hit targets from a moderately far range. Finally, the Drum Shotgun, a fast-firing and fully automatic shotgun, is also no longer obtainable in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3.

Before moving on to the Unvaulted weapons of Chapter 3, Season 3, Fortnite has introduced three new weapons into the meta that could be game-changer in battle, depending on how players use them. The first is the Hammer Assault Rifle which packs heavy recoil but deals massive damage. The next is the Designated Marksman Rifle, serving as a hybrid between an assault rifle and a sniper rifle, and the third is the Two-Shot Shotgun, a supposed replacement for the Vaulted Drum Shotgun. As its name implies, the Two-Shot Shotgun fires two high-damage burst rounds at close range.
