The directors of Batgirl are unsure about how their movie fits into the DCEU and the wider multiverse.Batgirl is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who helmed the 2020 film Bad Boys For Life and recently directed the first and sixth episodes of the critically acclaimed MCU series, Ms. Marvel. Batgirl stars Leslie Grace (In The Heights) as Barbra Gordon's incarnation of the superhero and features Brendan Fraiser (The Mummy) as the villain Firefly.
The film will also star J.K. Simmons as Barbra's father Commissioner Gordon, as Simmons previously played the role in both the theatrical and Zack Snyder's Justice League.
