The last Elden Ring update made huge waves in the community. Not only did it nerf the incredibly popular Mimic Tear Ashes, but it also nerfed the Sword of Night and Flame. None of the nerfs were essentially game-breaking, but it did force several players to consider how they might adjust their build. Now, FromSoft has released another update for Elden Ring, but it’s not nearly as dramatic as the last patch.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, corresponding with the late afternoon in Japan, FromSoft released and revealed patch notes for 1.03.2. This patch, which doesn’t seem to be very big, looks to fix a couple of bugs that were introduced with Elden Ring update 1.03. This isn’t anything new, as game development is often complicated, and an update can unintentionally create bugs instead of nerfing items/fixing them. The speed by which FromSoft has moved to fix these bugs, however, is commendable.
Some Elden Ring Fans Want Radahn Nerfs to Be Reversed
The patch notes only include 4 major bug fixes for Elden Ring, although it’s possible more minor ones were simply omitted but fixed. This update is applicable to all platform, and players will need to install it before playing online.
It seems like the major fixes are pretty big too, as one was preventing some players from advancing a questline, one was causing characters to die, and another was preventing an ability from working. The full patch notes, as released by FromSoft, can be seen below:
