The weather conditions are a vital part of the gameplay, and it highly influences Elden Ring combat, specifically when casting spells is concerned. Fans have recently discovered that the weather type dramatically impacts the efficacy of spells and how much damage they inflict on enemies. This is a massive discovery as it can go a long way in determining one's success in the game. The Reddit user noticed that fire spells dealt different damage in rainy and dry weather. The screenshot shows the fire spell dealing damage of 429 in dry weather while the same damage was reduced to 386 in rainy weather. Rainy weather can also be a friend if the right spell is chosen. For instance, the following screenshot compares the lightning spell in rainy and sunny weather.
