The massive world of Elden Ring is filled with secrets for players to discover, with many of those secrets hidden by illusory walls. Illusory walls, for the uninitiated, are essentially secret passageways that are made to look like solid walls. Usually if players smack one of these walls with a melee attack, it will disappear, and they'll be able to continue through and see what's on the other side. However, it seems Elden Ring players have now discovered a hidden wall in the game that takes not one, but around 50 hits to open.
A clip of this particularly strong Elden Ring illusory wall was posted to Reddit by user teristam. In the clip, the Elden Ring player character smacks the wall repeatedly until it finally disappears and reveals the hidden room on the other side. It leads to a small dining room area with NPCs that players can more easily access through other means. However, it raises the question of whether or not there are similar walls hiding in Elden Ring's open world waiting for fans to discover.

Understandably, many Elden Ring fans seem shocked by this discovery, as it opens the door to the possibility that there are similar walls that require excessive hits to open. It also means the Elden Ring troll messages tricking people into attacking walls for no reason may not necessarily have been lying. After all, maybe some of those walls did indeed open if players simply had taken the time to hit them more.
