Invasions have played a key role in the multiplayer aspect of other FromSoftware games, and Elden Ring is no different. Now, one player shares a terrifying story of what happened when they got invaded.
Elden Ring Invader Uses Stealth to Take Out Host Assassin's Creed Style
A Redditor named AccuratelyNamedUser was with a friend when the invasion took place at 1 PM inside Stormveil Castle. They waited for 35 minutes for the invader, having the name StormveilStalker, to appear and left the Site of Grace after getting bored. The invader hit them with Rot Pots from a discrete position, and the two targets spent 20 more minutes in hiding. After giving up, they started running through the level and reached the location of the boss fight against the Grafted Scion. The invader landed the first blow as they stabbed AccuratelyNamedUser’s friend in the back, dealing 768 damage and killing them.
The host spent another hour looking over their shoulder. AccuratelyNamedUser mentions that they considered leaving the fight but wanted to avenge their fallen friend. The player made it to a Site of Grace, but the invader had waited patiently for their return.
