The Viridian Amber Medallion has a simple but useful effect: with this Talisman equipped a player's maximum Stamina is increased slightly. What makes this Talisman so useful, especially early on, is the fact that it lets players perform more actions before needing to recover their Stamina.
It might not seem like a huge addition to your Stamina bar, but the extra wiggle room is more than enough for most players to get an extra dodge roll, an extra block, or that last crucial hit to down a boss before they strike back. Later on it's a good idea to level Endurance and increase Stamina, which provides the same effect as this Talisman, though the +1 and +2 versions are still super useful (though much harder to get than the vanilla one).
