Elden Ring: Heretical Rise Puzzle Solution (Founding Rain Of Stars)
The Founding Rain of Stars is a Legendary Sorcery Spell in Elden Ring obtained from a chest stored in the spire of Heretical Rise, a tower within the northeast of the Mountaintops of the Giants. The Heretical Rise Tower is sealed with a magical barrier that can only be broken by solving its puzzle. To reach this Legendary Spell's location, Tarnished must defeat the Royal Capital's Legacy Dungeon Boss, Morgott the Omen King. Afterward, the protagonist will receive the Rold Medallion used to activate the Grand Lift of Rold and access the Mountaintops of the Giants region.
After crossing the perilous overpass guarded by a Golem Archer, adventurers must make their way northeast up the frozen river to a large icy lake protected by a Dragon, Borealis the Freezing Fog. From here, travelers must go south to the First Church of Marika and then ascend the snowy hilltops in the northwest, following Whiteridge Road up to Heretical Rise.

An Imp Pedestal in front of the sealed entrance to the tower will display the following message, «Falling snow marks something unseen.» This hint refers to the Illusory Floor that forms an invisible path to the tower's interior from the rear balcony. This unseen bridge will spawn after Tarnished have examined the Imp Statue's advice in Elden Ring.
To solve Heretical Rise's puzzle and acquire the tower's Founding Rain of Stars in Elden Ring, the player must travel to the Freezing Lake Site of Grace.
