A strange glitch in Elden Ring sees the player's usually noble steed, Torrent, running for the heels at a site of Grace. Users gain access to the horse in Elden Ring fairly early on, as its needed for traversing long distances or quickly scaling massive heights. As many have discovered, Torrent also proves useful when fighting certain enemies and boss characters. (No one wants to face off against a Tree Sentinel on foot, after all.)
Perhaps Torrent's best quality lies in the fact that players can all upon the horse at leisure — most of the time — and instantly take off at breakneck speeds, since the beast appears out of nowhere in a split second. Interestingly, YouTuber Zullie the Witch discovered cut content via Elden Ring's Network Test prompt code that indicates FromSoftware had even bigger plans for the mount. The studio previously developed animations that allowed Torrent to eat grass, back kick enemies, and even move independently of the player character.

A gameplay clip shared by DogWoofWoof22 on Reddit suggests remnants of the aforementioned cut content still linger in Elden Ring, as evidenced by Torrent running away from the player. The short video begins with the Tarnished riding Torrent to a site of Grace, then hopping off. Instead of dissipating in thin air, the burly horse continues racing along without a care in the world.
