One of the many alluring qualities that players have latched onto with Elden Ring is the numerous memorable characters that populate the world of the game. As with most other FromSoftware titles, the lore of Elden Ring is somewhat dense in terms of its presentation, but the ways in which the world and characters relate to one another are extremely detailed. Now, one of the most iconic characters in Elden Ring has been recreated through unexpected means.
A plot point that tends to get consistently featured throughout the narrative of Elden Ring is the demigods, which serve as the primary antagonists of the game. While the player does not have to beat every demigod in Elden Ring in order to complete the game, many of them, including Godfrey, First Elden Lord, are mandatory fights. Though, one fan has recently managed to recreate Godfrey using a rather unorthodox method.
Game Boy-Style Demake of Elden Ring Is Now Available
Over on Reddit, a user named ViktorRedd showed off a surprisingly detailed drawing of Godfrey, First Elden Lord, that was done in Microsoft Paint. As far as drawing programs go, Microsoft Paint is comparatively more limited than other drawing software like Photoshop and Illustrator, but the sheer amount of detail in this drawing is extremely impressive.
It's also worth noting that while Microsoft Paint may be inferior to other drawing programs, the character designs of Elden Ring are already extremely memorable. Godfrey, in particular, has a multitude of characteristics that make him a recognizable character, such as his giant war ax, the lion spirit Serosh that is attached to his back, and his white hair and beard. Either way, it's an amazing drawing that a number of Elden Ring fans would appreciate.
