FromSoftware's next big hit got one update seemingly before or during Elden Ring's review process and is now set to receive another update mere hours from the game's launch.
In a news post on Bandai Namco's website, the publisher has laid out all the details regarding Elden Ring's second patch and says that it's important that this patch be applied before playing the game as it will make a number of quality-of-life enhancements for players. Bandai Namco also notes that the update will ultimately «improve the stability of the gameplay.»

It is important to note that this patch is only available for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Elden Ring as there is no word yet on a patch for PC players. Bandai Namco has reiterated that this patch should be applied first thing, and it urges players to manually check for updates prior to booting up the game. The publisher has also mentioned to apply the patch to the Digital Art Book and Soundtrack included in the Digital Deluxe Edition of Elden Ring.
