Dying Light 2 fans aren't happy that the unbreakable Korek weapon charm has been massively nerfed, with Techland promising that it's going to look into fixing it.
One of the biggest points of contention within the Dying Light community is that almost all of the game's weapons are breakable and can only be repaired a certain amount. Shortly after the game's release, a secret developer room was found that had some easter eggs for fans, as well as the Korek weapon charm that made weapons unbreakable.

This easter egg was well-received by the community for letting players keep a hold of some of the rarer weapons in the game and essentially turn off one of the more controversial gameplay mechanics. However, the most recent update to the game has massively nerfed the charm and sent the community into an uproar.
Before the most recent patch, the Korek Charm added +500 durability to a weapon, which made them near enough unbreakable. That's now been lowered to +300 durability, making weapons easier to break even with the easter egg attached to them. It also now costs 666 scrap to craft, adding yet another requirement on what was supposed to just be a fun secret for players. Even worse, this change wasn't listed in the patch notes and was simply left for players to discover.
The community has reacted pretty venomously, with some players in the community arguing that the change was executed "awfully". The Dying Light Twitter account has since been responding to angry players and promising that it will be looking into the Korek Charm and making some changes to it.
