Dusk Diver 2 - How To Defeat The Mysterious Warrior, Second Encounter

With Dusk Diver 2’s plot starting to pick up, it’s about time Yumo and pals start having rematches with enemies they struggled with earlier in the game. First up is The Mysterious Warrior - Yumo’s main rival. She has a few new tricks this time around, so she won’t go down quite so easily - nor will she back down halfway through the scrap.

Provided you have done some side activities and powered up a bit, this fight isn’t too hard. The Mysterious Warrior is a strong foe, but she falls into the same trap as most enemies in Dusk Diver 2, which makes her surprisingly easy to overcome once you have the knack.

The Mysterious Warrior has had a bit of an upgrade since last time, with her kit having quite the spruce up. Not only that, but she even has access to Enrage - a mechanic that hasn’t come up often thus far. Once enraged, The Mysterious Warrior will deal more damage, attack more aggressively, and gain a few new moves making her even more dangerous.

The Mysterious Warrior could have more attacks, however, these are the ones we managed to trigger/spot during our fight.

Yumo is the go-to pick here. She is simply too good not to use, and this will continue to be the case as the game goes on. Yumo is fast, powerful, and has a great moveset that can be used to great effect in this fight. Bahet, being another nimble character, is also very good.

Leo and Viada struggle in this fight as Leo is simply too slow, and Viada is prone to missing due to The Mysterious Warrior’s fast movements. One thing Leo can do very well, however, is block The Mysterious Warrior’s Red attack - although this is quite a niche piece of utility on an otherwise poor pick.
