Dungeons of Dreadrock is an interesting looking dungeon crawler that takes its cues from old-school, first-person RPGs, then switches the perspective.
You’re moving around a grid-based dungeon, looking down on everything, fighting monsters, solving problems and getting up to all sorts of fantasy mischief. Not like that.
There are 100 levels to fight your way through, and they’re all hand-made. There’s no roguelite stuff going on here. You can watch a trailer for the game just below this here paragraph.
There’s a story about a lost sister, and the game has more than a shade of the puzzler to it as well. Sort of like the Go games Square Enix made a while back, but more free-form.
Dungeons of Dreadrock is set to launch on the Play Store on February 13th. Hey, that’s just in time for Valentine’s Day. That’s be a treat, won’t it? Well, it might be.
You can pre-register for the game on the Play Store by clicking right here. When it launches, the game will be free to play, with a one-off IAP to get rid of the adverts.
