Download BioShock: The Collection While It's Free On PC
PC users will have a chance this week to download the critically acclaimed BioShock: The Collection for free. 2K Games' best-selling trilogy of single-player titles is best known for its atmosphere, satisfying gunplay, writing, and worldbuilding, making it a solid choice for anyone interested in action games with well-crafted narratives.
The next entry in the BioShock series is suggested to have imaginative combat and general gameplay, which is exciting fans of the franchise. Players are particularly excited about the prospect of a new BioShockgame release considering the gap between entries; the last game in the franchise, BioShock Infinite,came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013, with subsequent releases on the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Although the third entry received some criticism for being too focused on action over things like atmosphere or immersive sim-style gameplay mechanics, it still landed well with players, and the first two releases in the series are remembered as among the best first-person shooters of their era.

The collection includes three releases: BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite. All associated DLC is also included in the bundle, and all entries have been optimized for use on modern PCs. It should be noted that, unfortunately, the multiplayer of BioShock 2 is not included in BioShock: The Collection, so only the single-player campaigns of the three releases are available.
