Scrubs star Donald Faison teases his mysterious Arrowverse role for Legends of Tomorrow, possibly dropping a clue about who he is playing. As Legends of Tomorrow season 7 has two episodes left, the producers are wrapping up the ongoing season with a bang. Faison was recently announced to be joining the series for the Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale in an undisclosed role. While The CW is keeping Faison's character under wraps, it is not just for a single guest appearance as the showrunners have bigger plans for him. Should Legends of Tomorrow be renewed, Faison will officially be part of the eighth season.
Despite keeping his identity a secret, The CW did disclose a very specific character description as part of Faison's casting. Based on the breakdown, it's being heavily speculated that Faison is playing none other than Michael Con Carter, a.k.a. Booster Gold. What's fueling the theory is how the character is described as someone «whose golden years are in the rearview mirror» while also wanting a «boost» that only «fame, fortune, and glory can provide,» all of which are classic Booster traits. Whether or not Faison is playing the Arrowverse's Booster Gold, it's unclear if his Legends of Tomorrow debut will be a cameo or if the whole finale will feature him heavily.

On the latest episode of his podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends, which he hosts with Scrubs co-star Zach Braff, they briefly discussed Faison's upcoming Arrowverse adventure.
