Digital Board Game Root Updated With the Exiles & Partisans & Vagabonds Expansion

It’s been a couple of years since Dire Wolf Digital launched the mobile version of award-winning board game Root. And now the game has received a massive expansion thanks to the Exiles & Partisans & Vagabonds DLC.

The new DLC is made up of two different expansions to the board game, and offers a bunch of shiny new content for Root. If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s a fantasy game about battling for control of a huge expanse of territory. And it’s got cats in it.

The first part of the expansion is the Exiles and Partisans deck. This offers 54 brand new cards that adds persistent powers that are inspired by the various different factions in the game.

The second part comes in the shape of the Vagabond pack. This features three new Vagabond characters to play as – the Ronin, the Adventurer and the Harrier.
