Digimon Survive finally received an official release date last month. Bandai Namco producer Kazusama Habu even apologised for the long silences between updates. But worries were allayed and things are gearing up for the July 29 launch, with a new trailer being released (via Gematsu).
Bandai Namco and developer Hyde showed off new gameplay footage during Rulicon 2022. The clip featured Japanese voiceover work as Digimon spoke, and a battle taking place in the turn-based tactical RPG. Movement, menus, and stats were shown, as well as a battle between Dokugumon and Agumon, with the latter evolving into Greymon. The animations look very similar to the famed anime series, which is quite impressive.
